~  At many of our events and speaking engagements, I am often asked, "How do you find the time to volunteer with 5 children?"  My answer, "It's because I am a mother of 5 children that I volunteer.  I believe when children experience the value of "hands-on" volunteering at an early age they  realize that they are never too young to help make a positive difference in the lives of others.  Hopefully this rewarding experience will continue into their adult lives and they will always find the time to volunteer."

THANK YOU to all those who attended the bone marrow drive last Saturday for 2 year old Jacob Rickman from Columbia, SC .  We heard the event was a huge success with many in attendance.  Please keep Jacob, his family and all the other children in your prayers as they wait for a bone marrow match. If you have not been tested, please do so and take a friend to be tested too. The test is very simple and can save the lives of many.
